Nietsmachine no.2

The Nothingmachines No. 2 catch a signal from the air and gets energy from this same signal. The object doesn’t have an own power supply, any batteries or power socket. It uses the energy send into the air by our phones, Wi-Fi, radio stations and power net.

By moving the rod over the coil you tune the frequency of the signals it catches. The Nothingmachine No. 2 lets you hear the signals that are around you, sometimes it is the sound of energy and sometimes a radio station pops up.

The objects are based on an old low-tech principle that is put in the modern age to investigate how we could re-use all the energy that is send in the air.
